Want some advice on how to shoot portraits in the snow? Here’s how it works: you drive into the forest, sink the car up to the sills in a snowbank, spend half an hour digging it out (with your clients), they push you while they are dripping with sweat, and ONLY then you go take a few romantic pictures with no coats on.

Then they invite you for some soup and sausage.
